Driving down the parched Bundelkhand areas in the scorching heat of june, brown land devoid of greenery with people struggling for waater everywhere. The long rows of coloured jerry cans near hand pumps testify how scarce water is here and pains people take in getting . Women and children treading heavily with water on their heads is a common sight and speaks of the region, known more for starvation, deprivation and poverty. People here for a glass of water!
